1 SD auxiliary contacts are used with Compact NS or NSX circuit breakers, the common-point changeover contacts provide remote circuit breaker status information, they can be used for indication, electrical locking, relaying etc, comply with IEC 60947-5 international recommendations.
A single type of contact provide all the different indication functions:
■ SD (Trip Indication) indicates that the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
□ An overload;
□ A short circuit;
□ Operation of a voltage release;
□ Operation of the “Push to Trip” button;
□ Dis-connection when the device is On;
